Amid growing concern and online rumours, Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s wife, issued an official statement on X (formerly Twitter), saying:
“Thank you all for your love and concern for Dharam ji. He is in the hospital under observation and being well taken care of. Please keep him in your prayers.”
Their daughter Esha Deol also shared a reassuring update, confirming that her father is “stable and recovering well”, while requesting everyone to ignore false death reports circulating online.

Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, through their team, released a statement dismissing fake news about the veteran actor’s health.
“Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. We request everyone not to spread false information and respect our family’s privacy.”
